Do Girls Love Cocky Men Who Are Jerks?
You must have asked this question countless times
because you have seen time and again that bad boys who are cocky and
categorized as jerks by you often have girls around them, isn't it? The answer
is yes and no.
Yes, women are attracted to cocky
guys and jerks because these supposedly bad boys are witty and exudes an air
of confidence which women instictively identify with. In other words, girls
are attracted to "cool" guys.

These men are not real jerks like those who are
impertinent or simply detestable. They are viewed as jerks or being cocky by
other men for many reasons such as insecurity, they put up strong competition,
jealousy because they get all the girls, they are so confident that you think
they are arrogant and cocky amongst many other reasons.

So what is a "cool guy"? And what
about these alpha males that make women feel more attracted to them? Well, let
me share with you some short stories to compare what's cool and what's uncool
when you want to attract women. The names mentioned are fictitious to protect
the privacy of my clients.
James is very argumentative and
always insists that people see things from his "better informed" perspective.
He is clever and intelligent and this was his way of showing off his
intellect. He will start arguments about anything and always take the opposing
view on every topic that was being discussed. He did this with women all the
time too.
You know what? This is the real jerk
and women hated it. They scramble away everytime he appears. He is simply not
cool because his insecurity was so strong that he had to argue to get
attention.
Take Joe for another example. Joe
always try to do nice things and favors for girls who caught his fancy. As
soon as he meets a woman he likes, he tries to find something he can do for
her. But when the woman does not return his affection, he will be upset and
felt that he was being taken advantage of. This behavior of course repels all
the women he approached.
Why is that so? Well, women can sense
he is trying to manipulate women with favors and they resent him for that. So
this is another real jerk in action, the the type of "cool jerks" women are
attracted to. Women don't think he's cool, and they avoid him.
Then there is this guy called John.
John is a real wussy (wimp) who loves to tell women how beautiful they are,
buys them expensive dinners and pursues them with the "You are the greatest
girl in the world and I'm going to seduce you by giving exagerated compliments
and use money to buy your attention".
Although
John is supposedly doing all the "nice things" for the women he likes, he is
always unsuccessful in attracting girls for more than a date or two. Why is
this so? Because girls want strong and confident men and not wimps. Simple as
that.
Now, here are some guys whom many men
think of as jerks or arrogantly cocky, but they are not deemed as such to
women and they have girls clamoring all over them albeit their standoffish
behavior.
Take Tim for example. Tim always have
women around him and is very popular with girls. He always makes fun of the
girls he is with. He teases them and treats them like buddies. Tim is not
wealthy and he doesn't buy things for women or take them out for expensive
dinners. But he makes it a point to know where are the "happening" places and
where are the hot spots to hangout. Every girl who knows him thinks Tim is
cool.
Then there is Tom. Tom simply ignores
women when he first meet them. When he is introduced to a woman for the first
time, he will just shake her hand and say "hi" and then go back to whatever he
is doing. Strangely, women that are around him always want to chat with this
"jerk".
What about Taylor? This guy says
things strange things to women like, "You probably wouldn't like me. Our
relationship will probably go no further than the physical..." Tom is so cool
and laid back around women that they have to pursue him instead of the other
way round.
He's direct to the extent of bluntness. He
does not after women or buy them expensive presents or smother them with
compliments and yet the girls love his company. To most men, these guys are
jerks and cannot understand why cocky indifferent cool guys like Tim, Tom and
Taylor get all the girls.
So what is it that separates the
"cool" jerks from the "uncool" wussies? This is because the "cool" jerks or
bad boys portray all the alpha male attributes that girls instinctively like
such as being independent, indifferent, confidence, cocky and funny.
You see, being independant means that
you are not dependant. When you are acting dependant, you look for others for
their approval, you ask what they think before you make a decision and you
tend to depend on what others feel and think of you.
When you are independant, you do the
things you want to do, you don't ask others what they think but instead you
decide yourself. Girls love independant men because these "jerks" are
percieved to be men of character and are strong emotionally.
